Updated Bio from his foster Parents: Freckles has been with us since Monday night. The introduction to Murphy went fine on his end--he couldn't have been any more excited to have a buddy--Murphy wasn't very friendly at the start, but now you will never see one without the other! Freckles has endless energy and lots of love to give!! He loves to chase Murphy around-anywhere and everywhere, loves attention and of course, he adores belly rubs!! Shane has worked with him a bit on the SMS collar and he did exceptionally well (better than Murphy does at home, in fact!). He has gotten much better at listening to simple commands like sit, stay and come, though sometimes he is so excited that it's nearly impossible for him to sit still. He has met one of the neighbor dogs, a female beagle, and he was absolutely fine with her. Freckles has also gotten glimpses of our shy cat, Molly, and though he has shown some interest in meeting her, it has never been aggresive. We have had Freckles in the crate every night and during the day while we are at work. The first night was a long one with him clearly not being happy being stuck in the crate. Since then, we have moved the crate up to our bedroom and he doesn't make a peep all night. It is a bit of a task to get him in to the crate, however.
Freckles is an adorable guy that has lots and lots of love to give! He will do wonderfully in an active home with a family that has the time and desire to work with him and make him the exceptional Labrador Shane and I know he will grow up to be!
